STRAWBERRY ALLEY AND ALE WORKS
The Cunningham family hit a homerun with the renovation of this downtown space and conversion into an every day type dining restaurant. Burgers and brews highlight the diverse menu, and the atmosphere is welcoming to all. Our food recommendations include the Bourbon Burger and Shrimp n Grits.
FANELLI'S
New to the downtown scene, Fanelli’s brings a taste from the Northeast with its authentic deli style menu. The Steak Bomber is the staple of the menu, while the Italian is also a favorite. Huge doesn’t accurately describe the portion size! And don’t forget a cannoli (or two!)
MADELEINES PLACE
A niche French bakery with treats of all kinds, Madeleine’s Place is great for dessert after another stop downtown or a sandwich from their food menu. We go with the Croque Monsieur!
HOT PITA
A quick jump across the street from Downtown Commons, you can find some healthier options at Hot Pita. The rice bowls consistently get love in the local food groups on social media. The menu is customizable to meet your preferences and the staff is always very welcoming and accommodating. It’s great for a team meeting to-go as curbside pickup or delivery.
MICKEY'S
Maybe Clarksville’s newest option downtown, Mickey’s is located in a space well known to Clarksville diners over the years. Their website details more of Mickey’s great story. “What started as a dream quickly became reality when our owner, Michaela Williams, invested her all into opening her restaurant. As a single mom, she invested everything she had into creating a new brand in just 43 days.”
