My family went strawberry picking right before Mother’s Day and it made the sweetest, most juicy gifts for all to enjoy over the holiday weekend! It truly was such a joy having my family doing an activity together, but then we got delicious berries for dessert and gifts for all the moms in our family to enjoy. Our next trip, we are determined to pick and learn how to properly can them! Find out how to here!

During our research, we found some great options. We are planning on going to all three listed below before the month is up! But our first trip was to Slate Farm’s Strawberry Stand, you can see from this video, we had a great time: A short video to inspire your day trip ❤️

To plan ahead, here are some upcoming holidays to prepare desert, give as gifts, or just enjoy for yourself: graduations, prom weekend, Memorial Day, and a few starter lake days!

SLATE FARM’S STRAWBERRY STAND

Location:      1601 Hwy 76  East of Living Hope Baptist Church
Hours:          Monday–-Saturday 9am – 6pm, weather permitting
Price:            2.75 lb  you pick or $17/gallon

Payment:      Cash, credit or debit cards, Venmo. No Checks.

About:           Owned by the Slate family, this is a patch located off of 76 that’s easily accessible    
                     next to exit 11. And if you’re in a hurry or the kids are screaming in the car, they
             even have pre-picked baskets for you.

MCCRAW’S STRAWBERRY RANCH


Location:     2385 Rossview Rd, Clarksville, TN 37043
Hours:  

       Monday       9AM–5PM

       Tuesday     9AM–5PM

       Wednesday  9AM–5PM

       Thursday     9AM–5PM

       Friday     9AM–6PM

       Saturday     9AM–4PM

       Sunday    12PM–4PM


Price:           $13/ you pick or  $16/prepicked (seen from photos online)

Payment:      venmo, cash, or check

About:           “McCraw's Strawberry Ranch offers around 10 acres of strawberries where    
                     customers can pick their own, or purchase already-picked berries in Spring to
                     Summer. They also grow tomatoes, peppers, squash, zucchini, watermelons, and
                     cantaloupes throughout the year which are sold at the farm and to various other
                     locations.” Our summer produce is available in the Green Tiny Market Hope to see
                     you there.

Hours:           Monday-Saturday 8-7 Sunday 12-5
Price:            $2.75/pound or $18 per gallon

About:          Another great option for a strawberry patch to pick your own or just grab a
            pre-picked bucket! This location is in Cunningham, TN which is such a pretty drive
                    if you’ve got the time!
