When the summer heat hits, all you need is something frozen and delicious to cool you from the inside out. Thankfully, Clarksville has several local establishments where you can enjoy some incredible frozen treats.

GOLLY G'S

Nothing says summer like a cone packed full of homemade ice cream, although Golly Gs seems to stay busy year-round.  With homemade flavors like Salted Caramel, Pineapple Dole Whip, and Tennessee Fudge there are options for anyone!  They even offer several dairy free flavors that rotate regularly.  Whether you choose the drive thru that is open until 10PM, or any of their indoor/outdoor seating this ice cream is guaranteed to bring some cool to your summer.  No time for a cup or a cone?  Have any ice cream blended into a portable milkshake to enjoy on the way to your next adventure.

THE SOL PRESS CO.

If you're looking to reach your fruit or veggie quota for the day, or perhaps just looking for something on the healthier side of life, head on over to the Sol Press Co juice bar. Located in Sango, The Sol Press not only has a quaint, relaxing atmosphere and several amazing vegan treats but their smoothie bowls are next level! One might think a smoothie bowl would need to be slurped up with a straw but these smoothie bowls are so thick and packed full of nutrient dense deliciousness that you must eat them with a spoon.  Not to mention,  they're big enough to share.  Blended until they have the consistency of thick soft serve and then topped with a variety of custom toppings, these smoothie bowls can either be a sweet treat or an entire meal.

CHILLZ ITALIAN ICE

It’s not easy getting a perfect average rating of 5.0 stars from your customers but Chillz Italian Ice is obviously well loved!  Like a blend of sorbet, sherbet, and a snow cone this smooth, creamy ice treat is sure to impress.  With flavors like orange cream and green apple that can be eaten alone or mixed and matched, Chillz offers a unique take on a frozen treat that is one of a kind in our city.  Made by the owner himself, you will find Chillz Italian Ice on their food truck or in their brick and mortar location off Fort Campbell Boulevard.

LA MICHOACANA DELICIAS

If you are looking for an impressive variety of popsicles, look no further!  La Michoacana Delicias, located on Riverside Drive, has refrigerators full of them!  Sweet, creamy, tart, spicy you will be amazed at how many flavors they have found to put on a stick.  You’ll find popsicles with whole strawberries and kiwis embedded inside or even an entire oreo cookie! They also homemade icecream and a variety of sweet and savory treats but their popsicles steal the show.

TITA BOBA

Clarksville is home to a number of great coffee shops but if you’re looking for something a little more exotic, something to quench your thirst that is uniquely customizable, then you must try Tita Boba.  With two locations in downtown and north Clarksville, Tita Boba offers creamy milk tea, fruit tea, and a slush that is blended with ice.  Of course, they can all be made with those fun, squishy little tapioca balls that settle to the bottom and add a chewable aspect to your beverage.  Using green tea as the base, you can choose flavors like mango, honeydew, and passion fruit to make your fruit tea.  Have it blended for a smoothie consistency.  The creamy milk teas, which use non-dairy milk, come in many flavors including matcha latte and coconut.  In addition to the tapioca balls, you can also add fruit flavored jelly or juice balls that pop in your mouth and add a flavor explosion.
