Where is the best family-friendly place to be after dark?..... Our Clarksville parks of course! Clarksville offers up family-friendly movies once a month at various parks. Check out the details below to enjoy a totally free event for the whole family this summer!

The Downtown Commons provides a great greenspace with local art, kids’ Imagination Playground, as well as concerts and other community events. Visitors can enjoy free WIFI, bring their own food, or enjoy treats from Tater Headz restaurant located at the Commons. While Clarksvillians of all ages are welcome to the Downtown Commons, all furry friends must remain at home.

Every month this summer, Downtown Commons brings more family fun with movies at dark once a month. Tater Headz Eatery and popcorn will always be available to purchase- with local food trucks making an appearance for some nights! The summer event is sponsored by Beth King Phillips and Michell Lochner with Keller Williams Realty.

Liberty Park: 1188 Cumberland Drive

Heritage Park: 1241 Peachers Mill Road

Clarksville Parks and Recreation continues their Movies in the Park tradition spanning over 15 years! Rotating between Liberty Park and Heritage Park; Movies in the Park brings pre-show activities and performances one hour before the movie. Food vendors offer up local choices to enjoy during the movie.

Get comfy by bringing lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics. Please leave all pets and alcohol at home for these events. The movies start at sunset (aprox. 7:30 p.m.) and all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event is sponsored by Kyrstin Frate Realtor; Geico; BlueCord Realty; Altra Federal Credit Union
